Gloucester City Football Club look set to return to Meadow Park after a 12-year absence which saw their beloved ground hit by flooding in 2007.
The ground will see two new 350-seater stands built as well as an artificial grass pitch which will be raised 3.5 metres from the old level of Meadow Park.
Working with the Co-Chairman (Alex Petheram), FOC Sales & Hire supplied 28 high-quality single trip containers (15 x 20ft and 13 x 40ft units), all in the same colour and matching so they could be stacked 3 high. These units are to be used to form part of the newly renovated Arriva House which consists of changing rooms, club offices, function rooms and media rooms.
FOC worked incredibly hard with co-chairman Alex Petheram on this project and were able to continue to deliver containers right through the peak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Delivery took a little longer than quoted, due to the unprecedented global pandemic but Alex and all Soldi’s workforce were excellent and understood the special circumstances surrounding deliveries and the shortage of containers nationwide and worked with us to get the job done.
FOC Sales & Hire’s Managing Director Steve Booth would like to personally thank Alex and Soldi Construction for their dedication and patience whilst working on this project.
It will be great to see Gloucester City Football Club back in their new home very soon.
